* Put your music player on random.
* Post the first line from the first 32 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song. [1]
* Let everyone guess what song and artist the lines come from.
* Bold the songs when someone guesses correctly.
* Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!

My extrememly cheap music player doesn't have a random, so I used a random number generator instead. You should also be aware that this is about half the tracks I've got stored, and they're all from three or four albums (I'll add more when the CD drawer on the computer gets fixed, probably).

(Edit: Now with new songs replacing the instrumentals! Have another go!)

(If anyone thinks I should replace the instrumentals and/or 9 and 17 [since I'm not sure they're transcribed correctly] let me know.) On [profile] silly_swordsman's advice, I've done so. (And in answer to his question, because I'd have found that complicated. I've tried it with the replacements).

Hello! Can I play? Obviously my husband ([livejournal.com profile] speakr2customrs) has got most of the ones we own communally, but I recognised number 16 - 'Both sides the Tweed' - we have it by Cappercaillie, but I last heard it sung by Dick Gaughan when he was in concert on Skye three years ago.
