One of the things I like about The Scotsman and Scotland On Sunday is that their review sections are pretty sf&f friendly, and by-and-large they seem to like the same stuff I do in the genre.
So I was rather surprised when neither the Saturday Scotsman nor the Sunday SoS saw fit to review I Shall Wear Midnight, which came out on Thursday. I was looking forward to reading their opinions.
It's just occured to me that, since reviewers get review copies in advance, it's quite possible the review was published last weekend, when of course I didn't get the Scottish papers, because I wasn't in Scotland, because I was celebrating the author of I Shall Wear Midnight...

Suppose it just depends how much space they have. All those political memoirs probably took precidence.
