More on the Big Bang

Doctor in the fez, how do you do a perfect season finale?
"Just like that!"
Everything about that was brilliant! I mean, I got a bit worried ten minutes from the end thinking "There's no underlying baddie! It's possible this is just a bunch of stuff that happened, but..." And then right at the end the Doctor confirmed there was a baddie, we just hadn't seen him yet! Multi-season arcs! (And my money's still on the Dream Lord ... although with this amount of build up, Moffat may play safe and go for the Master.)
The ending with the wedding was brilliant[1]. And it looks like we're going to get the same TARDIS crew two seasons in a row, which is a first for the new series! I'm a bit confused as to how much Amy and Rory remember - especially Rory (does he remember dying? Is he still an Auton?) but I'm not really that bothered by it; I have faith it'll all make sense eventually. And it looks like in River's next appearance we'll see how she ended up in Stormcage!
Hurry up and be Christmas!
[1]Some time ago, I wrote a fic in which the Tenth Doctor suggested Eleventh was the Doctor as played by Hugh Dennis's Embarassing Dad character. That was before I saw him dance. He doesn't actually say "It's got a good beat", but it seemed close.

Somebody elsewhere on my flist has suggested that River might be the Rani. I doubt it, because New Who has the Doctor able to recognise other Time Lords, but Moffat is a Devious Sod, so who knows...
