Okay, first off, how cool is it that The Gruffalo is is still being read in twenty years. And hey, a bright dyslexic kid in a story that isn't "about" dyslexia!
Future Amy and Rory??? Not close enough to see if Rory really did grow that ponytail.
The Doctor being asked if he's scared of monsters and replying that they're scared of him, reminds me of my favourite Moffatism (used in "Continuity Errors" and, IIRC, "The Girl In The Fireplace"):
SMALL CHILD: What do monsters have nightmares about?
DOCTOR: Me!
Homo Reptilia doesn't work - that would be a reptiloid hominid, not a humanoid reptile. (Curt Conners might be Homo Reptilia...) And not only is Silurian a complete misnomer, but Eocene probably is as well (There could have been humanoid reptiles then, but they wouldn't have had "ape" slaves). Probably best to stick to the New Adventures' "Earth Reptiles".
They only have two eyes! But they have some sort of sting instead of the psychic pulse! They're a subspecies, so that's okay - the Sea Devils only had two eyes as well.
"I know one of you apes will kill me. I know which one. Do you?" Personally, my money's on Ambrose.
Aaargh! I forgot it was a two-parter!

Naw, it's the old man. She stung him precisely to get him hopped up enough to do it.
It's the whole plan. The colony got revived by some other means than humans stumling on them, the way it's always happened before. Somehow they learned how the previous incindents went, and they formed a Plan: they'll draw incursion so that they can wipe out the apes and then tell the Shadow Proclamation, "They started it!"
