Edinburgh Fringe

We spent most of Saturday in Edinburgh, which isn't really enough time to see much. But as far as I'm concerned, if there isn't a Reduced Shakespeare show, then some Am-Dram Discworld and Barry Cryer and Ronnie Golden's set are the Fringe.
Lords and Ladies was very good. I think they were the same lot who did Wyrd Sisters a couple of years back, which probably means we missed their Witches Abroad in between. Granny Weatherwax seemed a bit uncertain, but not as much as she was last time, and Nanny Ogg was perfect (they were both too young, but I think it's a student group, so they can't help that).
Not certain about the characterisation of Ponder (I know he gets impatient with Ridcully's obtuseness, but I don't imagine him actually getting shouty about it), but otherwise excellent, and the Librarian was brilliant.
We decided to pop into the museum since we had a lot of time to kill between shows. We thought it'd maybe take an hour or so, because we'd forgotten what Edinburgh Museum's like - we only left because it was closing! And that's with most of the original building shut for renovations (which look very impressive in the artist's impression and computer models).
So then went to see Barry Cryer and Ronnie Golden: At Their Pique. It's amazing; this is basically the same show they've been doing since 2002's Rock of Ages, but we still go and see it because it doesn't stop being funny (not even Barry's run of ancient pub jokes). And, yep, it was still funny this time.
