Phone call
Feb. 16th, 2007 12:57 pmI keep getting called by a certain company wanting to speak to my Mum about something. When I explain she's at work they ask if I'm her husband or partner. When I say no, I'm her son they say they'll call back.
This leaves me with mixed feelings. Basically, I don't want to talk to them, but I resent that they don't want to talk to me.
I mean, seriously, why does the fact that I'm living at home mean they can assume I don't know anything? It can't be that they'll only talk to her, because they check who I am first!
Granted, if they discussed it further I'd say "I'm sorry, you'll really have to speak to her." But *they* *don't* *know* *that*, which makes it an unwarrented assumption.
Still, on the bright side, it does mean I *don't* have to talk to them, which, as mentioned above, I don't want to, so maybe I should stop giving equine gratuities dental exams...
