Luxury unconverted warehouses available.
Apr. 24th, 2009 09:48 pmWednesday's Scotsman had a list of the most expensive places to live in Scotland, by both postcode and street. Most of them weren't surprising; the posh end of Edinburgh, somewhere overlooking Gleneagles, and so on.
But in the middle of the list was Harbour Road, Inverness. Harbour Road is in the industrial estate. As far as I know the only homes there are a block of council flats, and possibly the harbourmaster's cottage (although my Mum thinks even that may have been converted to offices). Apart from that it's all building wholesalers, car showrooms and manufacturers. Presumably, one of these was sold recently and the Scotsman mistook it for a residential property. But their Highland correspondent would have known better, if anyone had thought to ask him.
EDIT: The Inverness Courier is on the story, and that's exactly what happened.
