Rob has some trainees over from Bangalore at his work at the moment. They're all agog at the prospect of snow, but it hasn't reached Derby. Yet. :-)

I got a lot less enamoured of it during the power cut. Less than an hour, and at least it wasn't dark, but a period of realising that everything I wanted to do except read my book (which I'd just decided I wanted a break from) required electricity, and so did acquiring food.

Oh, that's no fun. The good part of snow is watching from the nice warm indoors, with a nice warm beverage.
