Merlin: Sword in the Stone Part Two

daibhidcOkay, feeling a bit less flu-ey so lets do some very belated (and probably still very brief) reviews...
That was almost pure awesome. Let down by a couple of Curb Stomp Battles; Merlin kills Agrivaine almost in passing, and Arthur never even gets to confront him; Morgana gets defeated by falling masonry (again); only the battle with Helios is portrayed as epic, and he wasn't even a main villain!
The whole Sword in the Stone thing was nicely done, although apparently we're now ignoring all the stuff about it being too dangerous to actually use in most situations. I liked Merlin's entirely fictional explanation for it.
And at the end, Morgana is healed by the White Dragon! Interesting...
Mythwatch: King Bruta Pendragon's name seems to be inspired by Brutus of Troy, the legendary founder of London, after whom Britain is supposedly named. The Sword in the Stone is, well, the Sword in the Stone.
