Hmm. Some nice moments (mostly with Lex, but even then there was a lot of rambling about destiny), but it basically seemed to be all the aspects of Smallville I have a problem with crammed into an hour (I totally called Darkseid posessing Lionel!), to the extent that I don't really feel like writing a proper review. Even the cute framing sequence was marred by the fact it makes no sense whatsoever for the Smallville comic book to exist in the Smallville-verse.

See I loved it all (see http://rhiannon-s.livejournal.com/822963.html for what I thought).

I agree on the Smallville comic book thing, but I'm choosing to believe it was Oliver splashing out on a spectacular piece of vanity publishing for his kid only.
