I was away from the internet all weekend, so it's not like I had to wait any longer than I would have anyway. Also, I've adopted capriuni's tradition of the Birthday Octave, in which birthday greetings and celebrations are acceptable at any point from the day before to a week after, so you'd have to have tried much harder[1] to qualify as "belated".
