That was fun! Sufficiently so that I can almost overlook it's failure to make any sense whatsoever.
We will pass over "Jor-El is a jerk because he's got an Omniscient Morality Licence" since I think I've already said everything there is to say about that.
Lois having Clark's powers was fun, if not as much so as the equivilent episode of Lois & Clark.
The Legion of Doom felt a little wasted. (I mean, apart from the fact we only ever saw them from behind, just like Cyborg and Impulse at Hawkman's funeral.) Toyman has brought all these villains together, and developed mind-control technology ... to control the water supply? I'm not clear why Dark Archer would be involved in this plan, since he didn't seem to be particularly interested in money, and wasn't Metallo reformed the last time we saw him?
Oh, and extra bonus points for the design of the mind-control implants. A star-shape with a red glowing diode in the middle? Nice reference.
To the b-plot: When Oliver rescued Kara, I half expected her to be under Darkseid's control, taking the place of Mary Marvel in Countdown to Final Crisis. Thankfully they didn't, because no-one in their right mind would reference CtFC. Even Final Crisis tried not to.
And I did like Green Arrow's quest turning out to be a shaggy dog story. Of course he doesn't get to wield the weapon that was the only way of stopping Darkseid last time, because this time the only weapon that can stop Darkseid is Clark. You're a supporting character, Oliver, get used to it.
The cliffhanger took me off guard. I assume it'll be resolved in the finale, but given the marriage recently unhappened in the comics, I can't be certain.
