Torchwood books

I've not picked them up yet (my bank account is still recovering from the London trip), but last time I was in Waterstones, I glanced at the Torchwood novels set between CoE and MD. Which is a really awkward time to set Torchwood stories in.
One is Gwen and Rhys trying to have a quiet life with Anwen but stumbling on Torchwoody events. Another is various stuff left unattended in Torchwood Three being unleashed ... including Suzie Costello. Both reasonable extrapolations of the situation.
...And the third is CIA agent Rex Matheson on the trail of some stuff that was smuggled to the US from a secret base in Cardiff. I'm not at all sure about the idea Rex was involved with Torchwood before he became involved with Torchwood, if you see what I mean. Maybe it'll make more sense when I read it.
