Still enjoying this (the Radio Times complains that there aren't any horses in the tourney, whereas I believe that this is the first [and probably last] example of historic accuracy in the programme), but as far as the mythic revisionism goes, this was a corker.

The villain of the peice is a nasty, brutish knight, even more arrogant than Arthur and plotting to kill the prince with the aid of a magic sheild. His name: Knight Valiant.

Hal Foster must be turning in his grave...
