Situation update

The computer situation appears to be more-or-less sorted[1], but we won't acyually be back online the 27th of December, or possibly shortly thereafter. Since it's unlikely I'll have another chance to post on my sister's computer before then, I'd like to wish everyone a happy midwinter festival of choice.
