A vision of the future...

So apparently there's a new TV show being made called Gotham, although I've seen confliciting information as to whether it's mainly going to be about Young Bruce Wayne or Lieutenant Gordon. For the purposes of parody, I'm assuming the former.

Gotham - Outsiders
Yeah, the hints that were being made last season have been confirmed; the various heroes of the Gothamverse have finally formed a team. A bit surprising that Billy's the leader, but I suppose it fits with his role as The Cape. Laughed out loud when Lightning asked how the "Dark Shadow" could be in the team when he didn't have a costume. But not as much as Lt Gordon rejecting the idea of summoning the team with a giant searchlight. (Although it really annoys me that he doesn't recognise Babs, who doesn't do much to disguise herself. Then again, as I've mentioned before, it kind of annoys me that Babs took a Bat-identity before Bruce did.)
The subplot about Bruce having to choose between Vicki and Talia continues to be annoying, especially since it seems like only one of them can be relevant to the story at a time (and hey, remember when Selina was a regular character?) This week it's Vicki, who still isn't convinced that the Red Hood really died last season. (Well, duh.)
She also helps Alfred in his research of the Miagani Prophecies, although as usual Bruce rejects the idea that he's destined to become the "Man of Bats". Which, y'know, given that there was an entire season of Joe Chill claiming that this destiny was why his parents had to die, isn't terribly surprising. And it looks like we can look forward to more of this next week when Haley's Circus returns to town and John Grayson tries to have another word with Bruce on behalf of the Court.
