daibhidcOkay, so here's my "it's very late and my brain is acting up" fan theory:
At some point during the Twelfth Doctor's life, he's reunited his old friend Frobisher. They have some adventures together, during one of which, Frobisher has to take the Doctor's form, only to get a particularly severe attack of monomorphia and be unable to return to his pengiun form. During a subsequent adventure, he gets amnesia and is stranded on 21st century Earth.
Frobisher goes into the civil service, gets married, and sadly shoots himself and his family during the 456 crisis.
Still haven't worked out how Caecilius fits into this.
