Many Names
Sep. 27th, 2013 04:34 pmI came up with this idea and was briefly tempted to write a fic around it, before I decided it was too much work.
"He has many names. He is known as Tharkûn to the Dwarves and Théta in Galinor. To the Elves he is Mithrandir, and Kafarac to the Dale-Kin. In the North his arrival is seen as an ill-omen, and thus he is called the Oncoming Stormcrow.
"To the Men of the West and the Hobbits, he is simply the Grey Doctor."
