Animal Farm - two unrelated thoughts

Eliot just didn't "get" Animal Farm, believing the pigs were clearly the brightest animals and therefore should be running things.
Talking of Animal Farm, does anyone remember the spoof reality show of that name ("Orwellian titles are big, apparently") in an episode of Jonathan Creek? That, of course, was back in the days when the BBC saw a show in which contestents were literally treated like animals as a biting satire on the worst excesses of humiliation television, rather than, as it is now, the latest hour-filler on BBC Three.
