I write like...

Memed from lots of people.

Based on the first chapter of "After the Tale", my unfinished Westala and Villtin fanfic:

I write like
James Joyce

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

I what now? I can only assume it's 'cos of all the made up words...

Based on the first paragraphs of my unfinished DC Universe fanfic "The Sleuth and the Shadowpact":

I write like
Arthur Conan Doyle

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

Which is pretty much exactly what I was aiming for, yay! Based on first two paras of the second chapter, though:

I write like
H. P. Lovecraft

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

I was aiming for Raymond Chandler. Then again, it was a lot shorter than the first , and did contain the word "weird" twice in rapid succession.

And finally, according to a Doctor Who ramble from this journal:

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

Um ... who?

Um ... who?

Apparently I write like him too, according to wikipedia he is known for topping himself and loving irony and a sense of uncertainty over personal identity. And also according to wikipedia he was the first man to conquer mars and thinks the french are "FAGGOTS LOL OMG!" :o)

Did the passage that it thought was Lovecraft happen to touch on topics architectural? I've had that thing return "Lovecraft" on two bits of prose (one by me, one by Colin Dexter) and in each case they were describing buildings.

I didn't, no. That does make some sort of sense, although you'd think they'd notice your and Dexter's architecture doesn't involve strange geometries...
