Et tu, Danny?

I'm disappointed with the LibDems for getting into bed with the Tories.

I'm really disappointed with my MP for accepting the Secretary of State for Scotland post.

Before the election, we were jokingly talking about moving to Ross-shire so we could vote for Charles Kennedy instead. Now, the mood is more that we're never going to vote LibDem under any circumstances ever again.

Well, it doesn't matter what posts they get cause they'll only get the titles. The real holders of those posts will still be in the tory party, look for whoever gets some plummy quangos after the coalition falls apart and the libdems outlive their usefulness.

Yeah, but I was kinda hoping they wouldn't fall for it.

TBH, I was kinda hoping all the Scottish LibDems would refuse the position, so Cameron would have to take the completely ludicrous step of claiming David Mundell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Mundell) had some kind of mandate.

Anyway, Mr Alexander will soon learn - as Mum pointed out, he's been complaining about the Government not working for Scotland for years. Now he's in a position where it's his responsibility - but the actual power rests with, well, the Tories. It's just a shame we're all going to suffer alongside him...
