Why is it...

...that normal sugar comes in a paper bag, but Fairtrade suger comes in a plastic bag, with no recycling information?

You can care about other people or the environment, pick one...

Heh, yes, my friend was telling me she was trying to buy, Fair Trade, Organic and non-packaged fruit and veg. She says, you just have to go for one or the other and she's right.

It's all very ironic and out to make it hard for people who bother to think about it and carry their own plastic bags around. :-)

Of course, you could just make sure you buy the paper bags of British Sugar (made from Sugar Beet in the UK), and also care about the food miles at the same time :-)
