I don't know why these things come into my head...

If you haven't read this month's DWM, it's got a column by Jaqueline Rayner with this illustration, and the first two lines of an associated rhyme ("A is for Adric who won a gold star, B is for Bessie a sprightly old car") And for some reason, I couldn't resist continuing:

A is for Adric who won a gold star
B is for Bessie, a sprightly old car
C's for Cybermen, in the sewers they wait
D is for Daleks EX-TER-MIN-ATE!
E is for Exxilons, lost ancient race
F is for Foamasi, mobsters in space
G's for Gastropods whose slime will congeal
H is for Harry who's an imbecile
I's for Ice Warrior cold as a knife
J's for Jagaroth who started Earth's life
K is for K9 Marks One, Two and Three
L's for Leela harvesting a Janis tree
M is for Master who's stark raving mad
N is for Nyssa who thinks he's her dad
O is for Ood as together they sing
P is for ... actually, what is that thing?
Q is for Quarks never mentioned again
R is for Rani, collector of brains
S is for Sontarans plotting Rutancide
T is for TARDIS that's bigger inside
U's for Urbankans downloaded to droids
V is for vexing vegetable Vervoids
W's for Weeping Angels, don't blink
X is for Xoanon, AI on the brink
Y is for Yeti, powered by Dr S
And Z is for Zygons who live near Loch Ness

(Yes, I eventually worked out P is for Plasmatons, but I couldn't think of a line about actual Plasmatons which I liked better.)
