I don't understand sports. Any sports. So when Mum asked me to find out how Andy Murray did today, I poked uncertainly at the official Wimbledon website for a while before sadly reporting he'd lost - he scored 6766, and his opponent scored 7622. (I was surprised at how big those numbers were, but I don't know enough to question them. And, after all, it does go up in fifteens.)

Apparently, the score should actually be read 6,7,6,6 to 7,6,2,2, which means Andy won three games to one.

I don't know much about sport but...

...is the fact Scottish football teams aren't allowed to play in the English leagues really headline news?

The Daily Record thinks so, since I noticed this front page story while I was buying stamps...

(On a sidenote, I'm amused that the Record's description on Google is "Read latest Scottish news, sport, UK and world news. Breaking news on Scottish football teams including Rangers, Celtic FC, Hibs FC and more", with the subsection "Football" coming before "News".)
